Ron Fairbanks has served as a missionary since 1987. He spent two years as a forester in Mozambique, and then worked with Greater Europe Mission in Portugal teaching at the Portuguese Bible Institute, Church planting, and then as Director of Mobilization.
In 2020, Ron joined Fellowship International to help churches here in Canada utilize Discovery Bible Study (DBS), Disciple Making Movements (DMM) and Church Planting Movement (CPM) principles. Since 2012, he has also worked with MissionPrep, helping train missionaries for cross cultural ministry as well as debriefing them upon their return “home”.
Ron now serves as part time associate pastor at Southwinds Church in Calgary and has joined Outreach Canada part-time to continue to serve the mission community and reach the lost through discipleship multiplication.
